It's not too often I get Hot Pot, but Pot on Fire definitely impressed me and left me full. Once we arrived, we hopped on the digital waitlist and waited about 10 minutes to be seated; it was quite busy in the evening on the weekend, so expect a wait. Once walking in, you just get a whiff of seafood smell. You can order everything digitally, and they have an extensive menu and even their own brand of bubble tea. While we were entering our order online, the waitress actually took our order, which was much more convenient. I ordered the Sukiyaki Pot, which has Japanese Udon inside. All of their pots have so many toppings to enjoy! Once they light the pot up, I recommend that you ask an employee to turn it off after 5-10 minutes. Everything was super hot so fast, haha. I'm returning and will try their popcorn chicken next time.

After passing by this establishment many times, my partner and I finally paid a visit after work! We were quickly seated and with the ordering system being online, we got our order within 15 minutes! The pots we got were piping hot and the broth was delicious! My order came with popcorn chicken and the chicken was nice and crispy, a perfect pairing with the soup that I ordered. My partner's soup did not fall behind on the taste department too! Unlimited broth led us to getting 3 refills of the soup and we left extremely full and satisfied, a great way to end the work day. I'll definitely be thinking about this place the next time I want to get hot pot!

This is my favorite hot pot place hands down. Ive been here maybe 20+ times and have enjoyed every visit. It seems to be consistently busy here especially on cold weekends. Even if it's busy, you dont have to expect to wait too long maybe 30-40ish minutes max. The restaurant ambiance is comfortable. Its a great place for small or big groups. Service is also efficient and fast as you simply order from a QR code. The food comes out fast and it hot the whole time since the pot is on always fire. My two favorite pots are the kimchi pot and mushroom pot. My sister and friends love the house pot (depending on if you like stinky tofu you should take it out) and pumpkin if youre not used to it. Its a warming and demeal. Everytime my sister and I get extra cilantro and they always deliver. We also try side dishes from time to time the popcorn chicken and fried fish cake are our usuals. They have drinks here too and a great lunch special. j

I love this and wish there were more locations and specifically by me! It's reminiscent of the boiling point but way more extensive menu. I love that you can get your hotpot along with some appetizers. Most notable shout outs for their French fries and popcorn chicken. They're get to whet your appetite. I just wish their sauce offerings were the same as boiling point. The garlic soy sauce is really the missing key ingredient here from making it 5 stars. Plenty of parking and doesn't have a packed line one weekends unlike most BPs.

Really comparable to Boiling Point. I liked the toppings and flavor of the broth -- definitely on the spicier end as mild even had a little kick. Wait was really short and service very fast.

As a world renowned hot pot connoisseur and #2 fan of Boiling Point, I've decided to give Pot on Fire a try per high praise from a classmate that grew up in OC where all the good Eats are. However to her dismay, she had ordered her pot "mild" but it came out "dangerous spicy". Upon asking to have it changed because that's a drastic difference, she was told just to move the spice on the side. Anyways enough yapping about that, moving on about the food: -Popcorn chicken ($8.00): Decent portion for the price. Very crispy and good amount of flavoring, little on the saltier side. -Stuffed fish ball ($7.20): Filling was delicious and creamy. Outside is seasoned with a type of dry chili which elevated the dish. -Lamb pot ($21.50): I ordered it "spicy" and the name definitely lived up to the broth. Still very flavorful without the spice overpowering the taste. The lamb comes bone in and many pieces were pretty fatty. Decent balance of napa cabbage, vermicelli, tofu, and other things. I wish there was more enoki mushrooms but we in an enoki mushroom shortage right now so I understand. The sauces were okay, there is sesame, garlic soy sauce, and I think it was Huy fong chili garlic sauce which I do enjoy. Overall, I enjoyed the meal. If I were to compare to Boiling Point and Tasty Pot, Boiling Point still reigns supreme with Pot on Fire slightly being above Tasty Pot.

ORDER sukiyaki pot (4/5) this pot honestly exceeded my expectations. i got the medium spice level and it wasn't spicy at all. the broth tasted sweet and savory. the pot is pretty small though, definitely not shareable. there wasn't a lot of toppings.. a little on the pricier side in my opinion. SERVICE (4/5) you place your order through a QR code so there was no customer service aside from being seated and given our food + check. AMBIANCE umm there was a bit of a weird smell when we walked in. there was no wait on a monday night, but you can join the waitlist on the tablet in front.

Over the years we have been here SO many times, it's probably the restaurant we go back to again and again the most. AND i actually crave it every so often! Taiwanese spicy hot pot is the only thing we ever order! And I love how you can customize the spice level (other hot pot places only offer one level of super spicy). Lunch price is a bit cheaper and you still get tea, but both lunch and dinner prices have continued to go up over the years Don't sleep on the chicken wings, crispy and flavored like popcorn chicken but bone in!
